Stereotypes
Today in class I learned about stereotypes. Stereotypes are automatic assumptions or ideas associated with a particular group of people. I learned that being stereotypical and prejudicial are very similar , but they are not the same. We read a story about a Latina woman that was stereotypically judged based on her clothes. There were many myths about Latina women that caused people to look at her differently.
